Wake up to the sound of the ocean each morning, and set your intentions for the day during a guided meditation on the beach. Get into your body during daily yoga practises… some to wake you up, some to relax and heal, some to make you strong.

Feast on a nourishing menu of delicious plant-based meals each day, and participate in optional cooking classes on the beach!

Join your wellness retreat leaders on guided hikes to some of the most tranquil rain forest trails in Tofino, and try a surf lesson on the beach. Just for fun, we rent paddle boards on one of the evenings and try some yoga poses while floating on the ocean.

Catch up on sleep at our hotel, staying right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Tofino, and soak in their hot tub under dark, starry skies. Watch the sunset from a campfire on the beach each night with new friends on your Tofino yoga and surf camp.

    Day 1- The Wild West Coast! - We take care of everything on this yoga and surf retreat in British Columbia, so you can relax from the moment we pick you up. Meet us on day 1 of your retreat and we take a scenic drive to Tofino, the little surf town at the end of the road. We get you settled in your hotel room, right on the edge of Mackenzie Beach and enjoy a dinner cook out on the beach, consisting of a healthy spread fo plant based food. During the evening we unwind with a gentle yoga practise on the beach with the setting sun shining on us.

    Day 2- Surf and Rejuvenation - Wake up to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach and the sweet, salty smell of the ocean air. Start your day off right with a meditation on the beach, and follow it up with a delicious breakfast and locally roasted coffee. Today we hop on a boat and catch a quick ride over to Meares Island, where we hike along the Big Tree Trail, winding our way through an ancient rainforest, and seeing the "Hanging Garden" one of the largest and oldest trees on the West Coast. Watch for the seals and sea lions, as well as bald eagles perched high in the trees. You have some time to explore Tofino in the afternoon, and then we head back for some relaxation and fun at the beach. You can opt to participate in a pant based cooking class, crafting up an inspiring dinner. During the evening we do a yoga practise on the beach and get into our bodies. Finish off the perfect day on your yoga retreat by sitting around a campfire and watching the stars come out.

    Day 3- Surf's Up! - Wake up feeling refreshed and head down to the beach for a morning meditation or yoga practise, welcoming in the new day. Once you have nourished yourself with a delicous breakfast and a steaming cup of coffee we head out for our day of adventure and surfing. Today is your chance to try surfing out in a fun and gentle way, learning from a professional instructor in waves that are perfectly tailored to beginners. Getting out on the water is the perfect way to connect with nature, feeling the rhythm of the ocean beneath your board. After your surf session we go for a walk on Long Beach, in search of sea life and letting our minds calm and let go of stress. Perhaps we take a moment to sit on the beach and relax, easing into a state of complete mindfulness and focusing on what we are grateful for. Feast on a spread of nourishing food and push yourself on an Ashtanga yoga practise on the soft sand of the beach. After such an active day it's time to rest your body, soaking in the hot waters of the outdoor hot tub.

    Day 4- Recharge in Paradise - Welcome the day during some morning sun salutations, or a de-stressing sit on the beach. Sit with new friends during breakfast, enjoying the healthy spread and talking about the day. Today you have the option to do another guided hike, or rent surf boards and head out for another surf session. It may even be possible to do both if you fear missing out, like we do. During the last full day of your Tofino yoga and wellness retreat we aim to make it special. After a day of adventure and fun, we return to the beach and try a yoga practise on stand-up paddleboards! This is totally optional, and a likely activity to get you wet, as we try out favourite postures while floating on the ocean. (You'll have a wetsuit and be close to shore, so it's the perfect chance to try this out!) Once you're dried off we eat a heart warming meal and relax on the beach. Tonight we usually do a group circle, as well as meditation where we welcome in new goals and dreams. Hang out with your retreat friends in the hot tub and make plans to reunite in the future!

    Day 5- A Rejuvenated Return After another calming morning practise on the beach we hop in the van and begin our journey back to where you were picked up from in Nanaimo or Victoria. We can't wait to see you for another yoga retreat in Canada soon!
